MAN-GO Try This!

Once again, this week’s flavor is a little different than any other we have discussed. What makes it different you might ask? Well because it is a sorbet! Introducing our dairy-free MANGO froyo! Like many other flavors previously discussed, Mango is a year-round flavor. At no point will you be deprived of the option to create a Mango concoction here at the Lancaster SweetFrog. Mango is also one of the most popular selling flavors of frozen yogurt, therefore, it must be a hit! The three combos we have for Mango include “Triple Mango”, “Fruit Blast”, and “Mistaken Mango”! Let’s get started, shall we?
“Triple Mango” is first up for our famous Mango combinations. Now, it may seem obvious, but this combination will include…three mango ingredients. To begin, start with a strong base layer of Mango froyo. Next, make your way over to the toppings bar to add our delicious mango poppers and fresh-cut mango slices. I know, seems cliché, but sometimes you just have to get your mango fix. Lastly, to TOP THAT, be sure to add our favorite topping, whipped cream. And viola! A three in one to satisfy your taste buds.
Next up! “Fruit Blast”! Personally, this combo is one of my defaults if I am conflicted about what combo I am feeling. As you may have guessed this combo is loaded with fruit, therefore, it is a bit more of a healthy option (probably one of the reasons I go for it). I also tend to sway toward this option because there is so much potential to make this one artistic and colorful. After all this talk, I guess I should enlighten you on how it is made, right? Per usual, begin with your Mango froyo. Next, to TOP THAT, visit the toppings bar and pile up all the fruit that you desire. Provided fruits include strawberries, pineapple, mango, kiwi, cherries, and occasionally bananas or blueberries. In addition, you will want to include a variety of our widely-known poppers. Popper flavors include cherry, strawberry, green apple, kiwi, pomegranate, passion fruit, and (of course) mango. If you so desire, you may be interested in adding some coconut shavings to your combo. And if you are really proud of yourself for making healthy choices, reward yourself with a ‘peach’ ring or two! Despite all though, you mustn’t forget the finishing touch of whipped cream.
Last on today’s list, “Mistaken Mango”! As usual, this third flavor is a little more adventurous. In addition, it is a combination that most wouldn’t choose, but I urge you to take a leap of faith and try something new and exciting. What makes it so out-of-this-world? The secret is that the combination is both fruity AND chocolatey. Therefore, of course, start with your base level of mango froyo, then add toppings! Once at the topping bar, select any combination of chocolatey toppings you desire. Some of the chocolate toppings on the bar include chocolate covered pretzels, mini chocolate chips, and candy bar chunks (Reece’s PB Cups, Twix, Snickers, Kit Kat, Heath, and Butterfinger). In addition, include that fruity aspect with mango slices and mango poppers. TOP THAT with some whipped cream and your choice of Nutella sauce, hot fudge, or our designer chocolate sauce. Again, this combo is not for all, but we encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new. Hopefully, one of these three options peaked your interest and sparked your creativity!
