Are You Nuts?

Time to get pumped! This week’s featured flavor is the cherished PEANUT BUTTER. Yep, that’s right, this week we are straying a little from the classic flavors, however, Peanut Butter is grossing in the top charts here at SweetFrog, it could almost be considered a classic. The top chart Peanut Butter flavor and topping combos include...(drum roll please)…”Get Nutty”, “Chocolate Peanut Butter”, and “PB&J”!!! If you love peanut butter, this post is especially for you!
To begin is a combo created by yours truly. “Get Nutty” is certainly a flavor combo to drool over (if I do say so myself). To make this mouth-watering combination, first, begin with your Peanut Butter froyo! Then, TOP THAT with peanuts, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Reese's pieces, Snickers pieces, almonds, peanut butter chips, and mini chocolate chips just to spice it up a little! Lastly, add our signature hot fudge, peanut butter, and/or Nutella topping – oh, and don’t forget your whipped cream! And there you go – a nutty combo!
Our next combo is surprisingly not a huge contrast to “Get Nutty” in that they both contain nuts and chocolate. In this combo though, the focus is on the chocolate more so than the peanut butter. Therefore, introducing our “Chocolate Peanut Butter” froyo combo! To begin, we suggest adding a layer of brownie bites and hot fudge, then add the peanut butter yogurt. Next, make your way over to the toppings bar and add chocolate and peanut butter toppings including Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, mini chocolate chips, chocolate covered pretzels, and peanut butter chips. Then, TOP THAT with our hand stirred peanut butter sauce and hot fudge. If you are feeling adventurous, you could add some of our designer chocolate topping as well! Then, ta-da! A “Chocolate Peanut Butter” treat.
Last on today’s list, our certainly creative combination, “PB&J”! The Lancaster SweetFrog employees have gone above and beyond to think out of the box with this one. It certainly takes an adventurer to test out this combo, but is still worth it! To make this creation, begin with peanut butter froyo. To spice up the combo, add strawberry froyo too! Next, TOP THAT with strawberries, strawberry poppers, peanut butter chips, and either graham crackers or pound cake. Be sure to include peanut butter sauce and our homemade strawberry sauce. However, with this combo, it is suggested to pass on the whipped cream. Regardless, the combo is still a tasty and seemingly healthy treat!
